Lost in the Woods:

To walk across somthin like a rain forest when it is raining...such frames I had only imagined of!
Remember reading a phrase long back...
"I like walking in the rain because no one can see me crying"
These words can be from a wounded heart...felt that such an atmosphere can heal any wound...

It would have been perfect, had there been little more light - getting evenly distributed...I am glad that I am able to get some frames that can be put on my laptop as background, instead of putting some snap of an unknown professional photographer...

Vintage Snow...

I have always been attracted towards the black and white aspect of life...this one located on my way from apartment to office...its a big play ground with lots of grass...when it rains the whole place is crowded with ducks, Seagulls & all sorts of birds - feeding on the worms and insects...but when it snows it becomes a bit tough to cross the terrain. These days it has become a routine thing for me to carry my camera. Since the sky wasnt that blue I thought a neutral color would come out well with the sun shining bright...and I was in a good position with both my feet in snow & water...framed it!

Planet that I want...

Just what I like...green on ground & blue on sky.
At the Peace Arch Park...US-Canada border, taken from Canada.

Coldest place I have been in...

I did feel how it is to be at -40'C wind chill, but this place felt colder than that...small ice formations floating over the water and wind blowing forcefully that a frost bite is possible if one is out there for few mins...

Behind the hills...

I was not searching for any peaks after reaching this point. But by the time I reached the top I had realised how hard mentally it would be to climb it, more than the physical effort. Feat achieved by Edmund Hillary and Sherpa Tenzing Norgay, the first to reach the summit of Mount Everest dawned before me.

Personally I have been wanting to go up such a hill for years and I happen to do it when the wind chill was almost -40' C. Experience of a lifetime...trip in rope car [called 'Gondola'] 1000 feet above, astounding view of the entire area spread across the mountains...

My list of desired places to visit still has Ley, Ladakh...though it's a practical possibility in the future, as of now I'm contented to keep this for some time...

Real Estate!

I have never been to a falls or seen it so close...Shannon falls, located on the way to the Whister mountain was just amazing with water flowing over the frozen layers...

Awesome feel to be close to that...with a warm wooden house and sound of falls in the backyard
surrounded by rocky hills, green trees and fresh smell of ice...no need for any one to bid, am before you all!

Towering high

On a normal day, I would have just neglected this frame...but with the snow forming a back drop, its hard to resist not to look through my viewfinder & you know what I will do next!

Located in centre of Minero park...beautiful place, some of the other snaps were taken there...wild squirrels were so curious that they were looking at my lens often within two feet, rabbits came out of their burrow to see me...Planning to go there after it snows again...

Union...

If you were one of those exposed only to hot sun, scorching heat, pouring rain...muddy roads, sand beaches...

Then a clean air, no sweat, cool breeze, - 7' C with snow would mean a lot...I am amazed that I have been able to capture somethings similar to the one's that I have had in my mind all these years...its a great feeling to have something that expresses your visualizations. Since my childhood I have always wanted to be in a place like that...and when I clicked this I felt I was floating and moments just melted under ice...

Neighbourhood...

Are the days made beautiful by the way we face it or the people who we meet!
My neighbours with closed doors and parked cars only brought delight to me as I walked past the snow covered street of mine...

Foot steps to glory...

Hard surfaced roads dont leave foot marks...soft ones does...my foot marks know who it is carrying...but I dont know till where I can take them...

...to the dark jungles of Africa!
...to the always live Savannah!
...to the door steps of Giorgio Armani...

Surprises...

We all were put in the beginning of the road but its we who we decided the directions later on, to take...life throws all sorts of surprises, sometimes the odd ones, like the brown bench in the park above...just stands out in the whole set of 'Vintage frame'...leaving so much of pleasant memories that I do not have to be re-born...

...hi life - hello, am right over here! when am I going to get mine...

Touching the skies...

When the Maple leaves turned from green to this color, its hard to move my head away from them...what a sight, under the dark blue sky...are you wishing that you could have been with me! Me too...Fall has been very joyable and winter is only adding to it...

UFO

Stepping into no mans zone, deep into the forest would be always exciting...

Lost in the woods, dry in throat, hungry for days, unending avenues - nothing can stop an adventurer's delight...

Eldorado

Gold, something that I hate among the metals...but I would always ask for more, anything that has its color...especially a stint of light...If I ever manage to build a house of my taste and design, my room would have the most exuberant colors that one can imagine!

Land of Dreams!

When I close my eyes there are a few things that flashes before me. And If there was a way to get transported it would be to the place like this...Taken during my first snow...it was absolutely beautiful. I knew that this would come out well, but never imagined it would be like a Canvas!

...attributed mainly due to the noise, since it was taken in less light...
