Knock Knock ???

Well, I guess I have been away from this world for a long time.

Just thought of checking in to see, how active you all are...

This is me shooting by the side of Lake Louise, Alberta, Canada. I had some interesting moments there and was briefly involved in street photography and wild life.

Then I returned to Chennai, India and have been here for about three years now and very soon am relocating to a new city. Am sure I would have ample time to share my next phase, hopefully with more pictures.

It's indeed hard to decipher some of the creations. This one is quite special...let me know if you felt like having a cup of coffee, looking at this :)



I have been quite busy...travelling just to take pictures. Now I have so much pictures, that I can write for years about my experience involved.

A Theory to relate to...

I liked physics only for one reason...because it had the theory of relativity. Only other theory that remains in memory next to the third law.

Journeys are quick and relativity is all over the globe...
Everyone is a racer in pursuit of a something...
One who realises that would know the real values that are being missed.

The Unknown Reach...

Do you know how far you can reach...

There are a lot of things that could be happening beyond our reach, which we might never know, like...

We could have -

...crossed some boundaries,
...broken some limits,
...made a difference for some,
...hurt some,
...made some think,
...amused some,
...turned something normal to magic for some,
...brought out few smiles on some,
...changed some forever,

As long as it is not known to us - it would be governed by:
...The law of the Unknown!

Not My Cup of Drink...

If this is an Elixir of Life...

...I would certainly not drink it, for I would only come across another set of selfish people.

The Illusionist...

He has waited all these years with the least hope of coming across the one, who still remains a mystery to him.


The shores of of Kerala would remain in his memories for two reasons. One is the ever smiling nature and the other for the moments, that would never come back. It has been a decade and the scenes are still fresh. It is indeed true that some smiles/ glance hardly last for few seconds but last for a lifetime.

It is a great surprise for someone who had believed that few things are possible only in movies, till that happened to him. It was only once he heard her voice and the echoes have not faded away yet. Strange that he landed on the social networking sites and even blogged...thinking that there could be a chance he could stumble upon her, just with a name. Interestingly it only lead to further more mysteries. It is a fact that he is fascinated by the illusions, but certainly not of these kind. While he likes the technology that has been growing rapidly, he hates it for happening a little too late.

Certainly this would not make a difference now. It is hard to describe a feeling which does not have a definition yet, may be simply because knowing a name and face does not disqualify the person under the 'Stranger' category. Does it? And it seems very likely that the face would fade off his memories too.

Whatever...he may capture lively moments, create illusions and captivate the perspectives he favours the most. But certainly he does not savour the reality that he could not capture the stranger who photographed him a decade back.

Destiny!...he would definitely believe in it if he meets her to 'thank' before the end of his journey, for she has been always in the corner of his mind with each of his creations...

Just not what you think...

Sometimes not the most beautiful thing, is the one that attracts my attention...

Something:
...that stays as what it is,,
...reflects the inner world,
...lot subtler than sublime,
...that gives me a sense of belonging,
...anything that is a lot like me.

Diamonds Unpacked ) *** (

Nature's gift...come mostly unpacked :)

I bought a gift for a friend when I visited India, even though there was a very little chance of meeting. It was a beautiful work, comparable to this.

I really couldn't ignore a friend who thought I was full of something...

For those who are curious, its a shot that I took without viewing...two reasons - its tough to keep the neck unless I have a Giraffe's & the other one due to excess dew on grass. People who know technical aspects will know how tough it is to get this...

Count 'less'...

Those who don't know me, will see and know only one name from the stones. But I know few names that are on there. Many that I am not aware of...will be a surprise as they flip in the journey.

I seriously don't remember few characters...after all these years. Probably applies to many out there.

And for sure I could be in many forgotten list too :)

Crossing the Borders...

Everytime I break my Barriers, it simply does not go anywhere...

Wherever I go, I find myself right where I don't want to be...sometimes when someone hesitates even to become a friend, really makes me wonder.

Colors were just too good to walk past without a click :) it should seem to you as if am on air like David Blaine...

Face of an Illusionist...

World is a better place to everyone who can see it differently. It's just that people are the one's who disappoint me - no matter how differently I see.

It's like sleeping in the shades of a tree along the coast on shore...
...getting up early in the morning
...stretching while watching the dawn

...almost like that for a post after a long break. Just to let know that am still out here... :)

To follow...pictures I click with my mobile. My theme would remain the same. However you would have to bear with the picture resolution for now. 2MP camera can offer only a limited...sharpness!

The Creature...

To me one of the most blank, hard hitting, utterly, subtle word that is not so commonly used is 'Creature'

We all were created as part of the universe and the way we gained superiority over the other creatures (known to us) through evolution is something beyond our control. Nature has been the sculptor all along, shaping us...

But He, only knows where we are headed - among the destructions & constructions we create.

Creatures for Creations or Destructions ?

Some of these patterns should be a designers delight...may be a fashion designer (...what do you say Bhusha) should say! I might get these on my T-shirts, if I get a chance!

Genie's Eye...

It's not just the photographer who can create the magic, it's in the eyes of the perceiver too!

We all wish to find an Aladdin's lamp...

What would be your wish? Well, as of now...I would ask a very high sophisticated camera, visible only to me so that no one can steal it again :)

...atleast my memory card was left behind with some of these pictures. I still I have my camera that can be used in underwater, leaving me an option to explore for now...of course am not going to get into anything bigger than a swimming pool :)

..its unfortunate that I get very little time to visit blogs.

Glance of a Dancer...

Doesn't it seem like a peacock turning back to have a glance...

It ain't so easy to blog again especially when I have lost both the essential mediums - my Camera & Laptop.

And most of the pictures in this blog were taken using the same camera. The very reason of me writing had temporarily ceased. The source to capture my perspectives does not exist. And it's not fun to browse anymore...especially when I know that nothing is going to fall apart in my absence.

I have not logged into orkut/ fb/ movies site for three weeks now, and will not till I get a new laptop. And then get a new camera...like starting from a scratch. Maybe this time I should take only the best. I know that I am not so organised this time. But I had to write this post, else I would have taken few months to write something. I had started blogging when I din't have them both.

...it hurts only when we feel the absence of something that was felt so close to us. My experiences with my first camera would remain in my memories...the pictures here would be a reminder to me.

Everyday is like a greeting card...
...some make us smile :)
...some make us frown :(
but this has definitely changed my attitude...

Fair Bit(e) of Share...

Life gives everyone their fair bit/ bite of share...

Of course there are/ could be many disappointments in each of the journeys. But I strongly believe that we get what we are supposed to. I know what I deserve & you know what you deserve. Everything else does not matter.

So have fun & do what you love to do...as long as it does not hurt anyone. I don't believe in false hopes & fake chocolate words. But what I do wish is 'May this new year bring us anything/ everything that each of us deserve'...

I also have to agree that unfortunately for many of us - we get the share when we don't want or we don't get when we want...that's the way it would be. And none of us can have a control on that.

So keep munching as long as you have your share...Rock on!

Need of the Hour...

Need of the Hour...

As another year is about to roll past, picked couple of wrist watches for this boxing day (not costly). I am rather choosy when it comes to anything that would be a part of me. And am not a gadgets freak too...its a rare occasion that I like them.

Need of the hour - you never know what one needs at a point of time. Call it the ice-breaker...and my friends like me for that. Don't know how? but I can sense that when someone needs it.

Especially when I see someone sad or not cheerful, like the shop keeper or people I come across...I make sure I see a smile on their face before I leave. Infact those are the moments when I realise the real me, sleeping in.

That would make my day. Now don't ask me how cheerful I am :) I thought the frame with my wrist posture along with watch would go with the title...

The Messengers...

Birds have always been one of my favorite subjects...

Lack of time and equipments always keep me at a distance from them. Fortunately the Snow Geese from Russia have migrated to Canada this time, more. I clicked this during my lunch hour on the way to office. Though the camera was not equipped with a larger zoom capacity, I waited for some group to fly closer. And this is a decent shot.

They all look like a messenger to me, especially the third one in the group - an angel carrying a message. Isn't it!

I wish I could stop my perspectives...but you know, that's the last thing I would do.
