Where the three meet...

Illusions have fascinated me all the years...

in the form of magicians,

in the form of art,

in the form of nature...

Sometimes I see it and capture pictures intentionally...

Sometimes I observe them only after taking pictures...

Sometimes I see images in objects lying on the ground...just that I can't take those pictures...while I would not venture out specifically to capture these, there are some of my collections. I might post them later.

I believe: the real estate sector, the non-stop signal lights & the ever so idle traffic will take a while to completely erase such serence existences...

Launching himself...Byresh wanted a frame in the air...and I thought it would be good to have a low angle shot. Had set the shutter & aperture settings manually to get the color mix...

I was also keen to get my favorite sky blue & cover da maple tree color. Waz glad when I saw this video next day http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-oh4nTdIB2Y , as it almost had that trace [my latest favorite song "siragugal vandathu" from movie SARVAM ]- Would love to be in such a place...sometimes it is hard to describe how you feel on seeing such visuals...but can only be felt.

Have had a liking for animation always, best way to get into my dream world of visuals...da video 4 some reason reminds me of Aladdin's land with the silhouttee effect, wit sun setting...!

Am always intrigued by the angles and views from this perspective...well, so many buildings out there with fantastic architecture...

...especially down here in Vancouver, lots of movies have been shot.

Stepping Stones to the Clouds _--_

I have started thinking, will I ever get bored taking pictures with my favorite sky blue backdrop!

Seems to be a 'No', hope you are also not fed up with seeing such colors. Since I have grown up in a place thats often devoid of such colors, it has been my desire to captivate frames with such colors. And so far the hunger for it seems to have not subsided.

Looking at such a structure with a beautiful backdrop...
Located in a city along the waters, surrounded by icy mountains…
If one takes a deep breathe...
The clean air with the chillness that hits the nostrils and then lungs...
Would leave anyone mesmerized...

I am not aware of the story of the movie "Hope Floats", except I remember that Sandra Bullock features in it...

On seeing anything that floats...I am reminded of the occassions when I had kept my hopes floating...

Sometimes things don't turn out as we expected...many a times have to be content with what we have...stepping stones towards the wrinkles, I would say...

Like - would you believe that the output from the camera was like below, after transferring to my laptop...its one of my favorite shots and I had to crop it. I have no clue why it's happening and this is not the first one! Probably I need to format my memory card...

How gud it would have looked if it was in one single piece, I leave it to you...to imagine.

It was my first time to an Island and it was an awesome feeling to have sailed across, the vast sea engulfing my fears...

Along the shore...

In Canada:

My eagerness to explore the colors & skies abroad came to a halt with my flight itenerary being confirmed. I will never forget the distant horizon that I saw in the early morning hours from the flight, something that I had wanted see for so many years. My transit was through Hong Kong & I thoroughly enjoyed the journey, even though I felt uneasy & cramped coz of the engine noise & space constraints. Business class wud b better, am sure.

Vancouver, this town is a beautiful one brushing everyone often with a cool breeze...First time am in an atmosphere filled with freshness of the flowers...at least not that much smoke that checks the suspension system of our respiratory system. Way people respect rules here, amazing! can only hope to expect it to happen in our place in my lifetime... Far away river, airport, big mountains with an icing on the top have always been my wish to see list, but when that becomes possible altogether from my balcony, I guess am a bit lucky.

Happen to go to my first base ball game! it was nice to hang out with everyone, get to see people and their behaviour. Went to Stanley park, a big one along the river. Visited Canada Place, lovely view of the hills, river & distant cities. Visited Aquarum - fishes, dolphins, whale...planning to visit a rain forest & few more in the coming days...Heard there are too many good places to go around. But currently not able to travel that much due to the working hours. Sure this place is costly compared to some other towns here...but prices are OK when there is a sale, reasonably good ones. Has to pay tax and products are costly because of that reason. Food items are very costly and cooking is the best option available.

People here used to glance when I wandered around with my overcoat in summer with amazement. Even that was a bit cold for me. I am at the beginning of the winter & temperature is around 14 degrees. Its just going to get more colder dropping to zero & below...
